Don't take our word for it

Here what some of the top companies in the world like Uber, Redis & Stack Overflow have to say about architectures similar to ours.

"The growing number of demands from business verticals and offerings introduces complex microservices and dependency call graphs. As a result, applications demand low latency, higher performance, and scalability from the database, while simultaneously generating higher workloads."

"However, every database faces challenges serving applications that require low-latency read access and high scalability"

"Docstore could have accommodated their needs, as it is backed by NVMe SSDs... However, using Docstore in the above scenario would have been cost-prohibitive and would have required many scaling and operational challenges."

"Speed of data retrieval from disk has a threshold"

Redis Data Integration

>

Redis Data Integration can be considered to be a direct competitor to Chakra. We only support Microsoft SQL Server, while RDI supports more databases. Given below are some items to consider while comparing both technologies:

RDI is a pure synchronization technology. It does NOT include the Development Tools we provide which significantly improve Developer productivity. Without this part, your Developers will still be manually managing cache management logic.

We believe that our Synchronization Technology is better than RDI for Microsoft SQL Server. We have extensive experience synchronizing Microsoft SQL Server in peak scenarios and other demanding scenarios.

No Database Synchronization Technology can achieve near real-time synchronization. Our technology is designed to provide near real-time synchronization which can be critical for most use cases requiring Redis.

RDI is good for us. We can leverage it along with our Development Tools to provide a complete solution to our customers, while we implement our own synchronization technology to support other databases.

Redis Enterprise is quite expensive for most startups and small companies. We believe that our Technology will be a better fit for them.

Change Data Capture (CDC) technology has many issues which make it a poor solution for demanding workloads. As an example, CDC requires the creation of tables in the database to capture changes in the data. This will cause significant Disk I/O and CPU overheads during peak times. We use Change Tracking technology which is significantly lighter on the database, and gives preference to database operations over synchronization operations which can be critical during peak periods. Because of this, we believe that CDC has limited use cases for real-world scenarios where Redis makes sense.

Stack Overflow Caching Architecture

>

The biggest lesson from the Stack Overflow implementation is that it makes sense to store specific, high-frequency datasets completely in the cache.

A well-architected implementation will provide a superior experience to your end users, as they will experience zero to no lag in their interactions with your application.

Stack Overflow, Microsoft, Google, Uber & most companies in the Financial and Vehicle Tracking industry use Redis to handle their real-time use cases using an integrated caching mechanism.

We are a Research Company

Our mission is to advance data-driven Software Development by fundamentally reimagining it, leveraging decades of industry experience to transcend current limitations and challenges.

We will achieve this goal by offering reusable, industry-agnostic services and development tools designed with two key goals in mind: simplifying code and providing a robust foundation for all aspects of building data-driven applications. Our aim is to empower developers to focus on building the application rather than the infrastructure behind it.

Our Research focuses on continuous improvement in areas like Caching, Search, Data Access, Multi-threaded Programming, Programming Language Capabilities, Configuration Management, State Handling, and Logging.
